EFL Students’ Perception of the Use of Group Work

Group work is an essential part of the learning process, especially for students at school. one method that helps teachers involve and provides opportunities to learn cooperatively. This study aims determine students' perceptions implementation group in English class. used instrument form a survey involving 125 participants consisting five classes from class xi SMAN 2 Malang. The author uses variables as reference what problems often occur when grouping leak students’ motivation studying. descriptive technique by describing usually happen analyze data obtained. findings this indicate working groups can improve their responsibility share ideas, time, task, resulting increased chance completing tasks quickly achieving better scores.
